Get the Look: Trilogy Stores SS16
Here is how I got this look for one of my favourite images fromt he Trilogy Stores SS16 Look Book.
Lovely Model Louise has amazing healthy blonde hair, so I just gave her a centre parting with a simple blow dry. Then I used my hot styler to roll sections into curls that I pinned up to set while doing her makeup.
Louise is naturally fair and I wanted this look to be a modern matte tan with 90's influence.... I know... Complicated!
First I matched Louise's skin with Vapour Atmosphere Stick foundation which has a natural glow finish and patted it on in areas that needed more coverage. Then I went around the edges of her face with Dr Hauschka bronzing tint . I pressed Inika mineral setting powder with a puff all over to really set and mattified the look. The fair foundation then acts as a natural highlight and I shaped the bronzer like a sun-kissed contour.
For lips I wanted a really creamy velvet matte beige pink. I love Hourglass liquid lips ( I used Canvas) as it has LOADS of pigment and sets with a sort of stained/painterly effect. I mixed that with some Nars Audatcious Lip in Anita. I applied the liquid lipstick with a 'dry brush ' technique. This is like stencilling from the '90's. You take some product on your brush, really brush off the excess and then really buff the colour in likematte stain.
For Louise's eyes I kept a really simple look. She has naturally round Doe eyes that lend themselves to a dolly-lash look. I used beiges and cream tones from Dr Hauschka, Urban decay NAked 2, and Louise Young to give natural contours to they eyes. I used Code Beautiful Mascara layered for top and bottom lashes.
I brushed out Louise's hair with my fingers and sprayed Aveda Brilliance Shine Spray for extra lustre.
