Makeup Brushes, Vegan Makeup brushes, Cruelty Free Brushes

Here is a quick little post listing my favourite Makeup Brushes for personal use. I draw a distinction between these and the ones I use in my kit, although sometimes there is crossover.

My personal make up brush collection has recently expanded with the addition of several new brushes, including the ones in this video by Artis + Otis Batterbee

This adds to the ones by RMS, (more on my fave RMS Beauty here ) La Bouche Rouge ( and more on why I love LBR here) and more that I have been loving for a while.

All of these brushes are quality made brushes, using synthetic fibres that have been designed for cosmetics and a great smooth but precise application and blending - so yes these are al Vgan or cruelty free - but also DO NOT SHED - unlike inexpensive ones that send plastic fibres down the drain when you wash them.

The key is cleaning your brushes regularly. My favourite is the @osca.london brush soap - after washing always lay your brushes flat over the edge of a counter to dry. I will repost my Stories from the other day so you can see!
